Baseball Recap: Columbian Snaps 13-Game Streak of Losses at Home

Columbian won the last time they faced Madison Comprehensive and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tornadoes came out on top against the Rams by a score of 5-1.

Columbian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Blake Gaulden, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

Columbian's victory ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 9-13. As for Madison Comprehensive, they dropped their record down to 3-25 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Columbian will square off against Calvert at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Madison Comprehensive does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
