Baseball Game Preview: Lindbergh Flyers vs. Rockwood Summit Falcons

For the second straight game, Lindbergh will face off against Rockwood Summit. The Flyers will head out to face off against the Falcons at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lindbergh 3.3, Rockwood Summit 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Lindbergh's last matchup with Rockwood Summit could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. The Flyers came up short against the Falcons, falling 7-1. The Flyers have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Ethan Cantareira was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one double.

The win (which was Rockwood Summit's tenth in a row) raised their record to 16-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Lindbergh, their defeat dropped their record down to 18-7-1.
