Baseball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 4.04 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 18-6 to the Arlington Tigers.

Lincoln has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-10 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Arlington and bumps their season record up to 8-7.

Coming up, Lincoln will take on St. Clair County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arlington, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Arlington Tigers challenge Munford Cougars at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Munford's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Arlington's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
