Football Recap: Collinsville Kahoks vs. Althoff Catholic Crusaders        
        
		
             After flying high against Granite City  last Friday, Collinsville came back down to earth. The Collinsville Kahoks were dealt  a  54-14 loss at the hands of the Althoff Catholic Crusaders on Friday. The Kahoks have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as their game  on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
 Although Collinsville took the loss, they still got scores from  AMARI RODGERS-PAROTT and  Devin Habermehl.
 Althoff Catholic was led to victory by  Jayden Ellington and  Dierre Hill Jr.  Ellington threw for 330 yards and six touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, while  Hill Jr gained 181 total yards and two touchdowns.  Charleston Coldon was  Ellington's top target, picking up 116 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Collinsville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Althoff Catholic, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Collinsville will take on Marion at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Marion is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 33  points per game  this season. As for Althoff Catholic, they and Mater Dei are set to duel  on Friday. Althoff Catholic knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 31 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Mater Dei likes a good challenge.
