Volleyball Recap: Jocelyn Burch's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Somerset College Prep Academy over Jupiter Christian + How To Watch

Somerset College Prep Academy lost against Jupiter Christian back in October of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartans came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-21.

Somerset College Prep Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jocelyn Burch, who had seven digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Hurtarte, who had eight kills.

Somerset College Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Jupiter Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-10 record this season.

Somerset College Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Lake Placid on the 9th. As for Jupiter Christian, after both having extra time off, they and Oxbridge Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
