Baseball Game Preview: Johnson Warriors vs. Florin Panthers

For the second straight game, Johnson will face off against Florin. The Warriors will venture away from home to take on the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Johnson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.

Johnson made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Florin, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Warriors put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 18-7 win on Tuesday.

Johnson got a massive performance out of Nikko Sical, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. The Warriors are 4-1 when Sical posts two or more runs, but 0-9 otherwise. Wyat Wolf was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Johnson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They are 4-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Johnson's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10. As for Florin, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
