Basketball Recap: Perkiomen Valley Takes a Loss

Perkiomen Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-39 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pottstown Trojans. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.

Perkiomen Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Pottstown, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Perkiomen Valley will face off against Boyertown at 6:45 p.m. on January 21st. Pottstown has already played their next contest (against Owen J. Roberts), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
