Football Recap: Laguna Hills Starts Season with Victory Against Canyon

Laguna Hills had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They enjoyed a cozy 42-28 win over the Canyon Comanches. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Canyon lost, don't look at Alexander Lundsberg. Despite the final result, he threw for 403 yards and three TDs. Lundsberg is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

Coming up, Laguna Hills will venture away from home to square off against Orange at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Canyon, they will face off against Ayala at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
