            For the second straight game, Great Oak will face off against Chaparral. The Wolfpack will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pumas  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
Great Oak's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Monday. They blew past Chaparral 11-0. The  contest marked the Wolfpack's most dominant  win of the  season.
 Reagan Ricken made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. That's the most  strikeouts  he has posted since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  runs and one  double. He is becoming a predictor of Great Oak's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 4-13 when he doesn't).

 In other batting news,  Wes Shanabarger and  Jaxon Valenzuela did most of the damage at the plate:  Shanabarger  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Valenzuela  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  two  runs gave  Shanabarger a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Fien, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and two  RBI.
 Great Oak  lost a few balls and  finished the game with three  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
 Chaparral is  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-7. As for Great Oak, they moved to 7-13 with that  victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
