Basketball Recap: Start Takes a Loss

Start suffered their biggest loss since February 23rd on Friday. They came up short against the Newark Wildcats, falling 60-36. The match marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Start's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Newark, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-1.

Start will be playing at home against Anthony Wayne at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Newark, they will head out to square off against Mt. Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
