Jockese Miller Game Report: @ Jefferson + How To Watch

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Jockese Miller: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made four total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defended two passes, but sadly Monroe Area still had to take a 22-7 loss at the hands of Jefferson. We hope Miller's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Miller and Monroe Area will take on Cherokee Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, Miller's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Purple Hurricanes' three-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Miller and the Purple Hurricanes surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Friday's match.
