Softball Recap: Brockway Comes Up Short

Brockway lost against Curwensville back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brockway Rovers came up short against the Curwensville Golden Tide, falling 9-1. The Rovers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Brockway saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Schmader, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Brockway now has a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Brockway will welcome Bradford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Curwensville, they will head out to challenge Juniata Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Juniata Valley their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
