Football Game Preview: McCluer vs. James River

James River will challenge McCluer on the road at Parry McCluer High School at 7:00 PM on Friday. James River is expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.

Everything went James River's way against Randolph-Henry last week as they made off with a 49-15 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-0.

Meanwhile, McCluer and Buffalo Gap were almost perfectly matched up, but McCluer suffered an agonizing 41-42 defeat.

James River's win lifted them to 2-0 while McCluer's loss dropped them down to 0-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, McCluer and James River will really light up the scoreboard.
