Softball Recap: Westfall Comes Up Short

The Westfall Mustangs lost 9-2 to the Chillicothe Cavaliers on Thursday. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kenzie Cook made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Westfall's record now sits at 9-8. As for Chillicothe, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That lines up perfectly with their 15-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westfall will host Southeastern at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Chillicothe, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Logan Elm at 5:15 p.m.
