Volleyball Game Preview: Lancaster Red Devils vs. Luray Bulldogs + Official Tickets

The Lancaster Red Devils will head out to square off against the Luray Bulldogs at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Lancaster heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came up short against Middlesex, falling 3-0.

Lancaster was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Lancaster saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Addison George had 18 digs and two assists. George is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

Meanwhile, Luray entered their tilt with Buffalo Gap on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Bison 3-0.

The win got Luray back to even at 12-12. As for Lancaster, their loss ended an eight-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-6.
