Baseball Game Preview: Central Noble Cougars vs. Tippecanoe Valley Vikings

The Central Noble Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Tippecanoe Valley Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Tippecanoe Valley took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Central Noble, who comes in off a win.

Central Noble came out on top against Garrett on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Cougars took their contest against the Railroaders 7-4. The game was the first time the Cougars have beaten the Railroaders on their field since May 2, 2017.

Meanwhile, Tippecanoe Valley came up short against Rochester on Saturday, falling 10-1. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Zebras recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Tippecanoe Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braxton Alderfer, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Central Noble has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. As for Tippecanoe Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
