East Poinsett County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Piggott Mohawks 71-42. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season.

East Poinsett County got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyrus Reel out in front who went 5 for 10 en route to 14 points along with eight boards and five assists. That's the most assists Reel has posted since back in December of 2024. Jacob Gaines was another key player, going 5 of 9 on his way to 11 points.

East Poinsett County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.1 points per game. As for Piggott, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
