Shelby Valley had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Mountain Mission Challengers 69-48. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 41-21.

When it comes to explaining why Mountain Mission lost, don't look at Annah Chacha. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds. Chacha is also crushing it when it comes to field goal percentage: she's posted at least 0.55 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Ella Rasnake, who posted 14 points.

Shelby Valley's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Mountain Mission, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4.
