Basketball Game Preview: Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests vs. Indian Creek Eagles

The Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests will venture away from home to challenge the Indian Creek Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sandy Spring Friends will be strutting in after a win while Indian Creek will be coming in after a defeat.

On Saturday, Sandy Spring Friends earned a 57-48 victory over Saint James. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wildebeests' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 184th, while the Saints are ranked 20th).

Meanwhile, Indian Creek came up short against Concordia Prep on Friday and fell 70-63.

Sandy Spring Friends will need focus on slowing down Jayden Abraham, one of several Indian Creek players who made an impact when they last played. He posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Jeffers, who earned 13 points.

Indian Creek has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Sandy Spring Friends, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.
