Basketball Game Preview: Beau Chene Gators vs. Lafayette Christian Academy Knights

Beau Chene hasn't had much luck against Lafayette Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Gators will head out to take on the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Beau Chene has given up an average of 60.3 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Beau Chene is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They secured a 66-61 W over Brookeland on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Gators as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lafayette Christian Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Monday as they fell 62-57 to Northside.

Beau Chene's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Lafayette Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Beau Chene strolled past Lafayette Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 by a score of 57-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Gators since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
