Volleyball Recap: Mt. Pulaski Comes Up Short

Mt. Pulaski lost against Cissna Park back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hilltoppers fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 2-1.

Ella Martin paced Mt. Pulaski's offense, picking up six kills. Martin got some help from Alyson Murphy and her 15 assists. Finally, Addison Brown kept Mt. Pulaski's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Mt. Pulaski's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Cissna Park, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 28-1.

Mt. Pulaski has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Athens on the 18th. As for Cissna Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hartsburg-Emden on the 18th.
