Volleyball Recap: Kittson Central/Lancaster Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Kittson Central/Lancaster had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Ely Timberwolves by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Kaydence White paced Kittson Central/Lancaster's offense, picking up 16 kills. White got some help from Camryn Whitlock and her 13 assists. Brynn Hennen controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Kittson Central/Lancaster's victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Ely, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Kittson Central/Lancaster and Ely should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Bearcats (ranked 124th) will meet Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] (ranked 260th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ely will face off against Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (98 vs. 363).
