After a string of four wins, Christian County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Colonels couldn't push the score so high this time.

Christian County now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Paducah Tilghman, their victory bumped their record up to 21-9.

Coming up, Christian County will square off against Russellville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.47 runs per game on average), something the Colonels will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Paducah Tilghman, they will head out to face off against Harrisburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
