Recap: Quabbin Regional Panthers vs. Gardner Wildcats
The Quabbin Regional Panthers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 31-16 bruising from Gardner. Quabbin Regional was down 31-8 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Gardner got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alexavier Figueroa out in front who threw for 209 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Rocco Roy, who picked up 120 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Quabbin Regional has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Gardner, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
Quabbin Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Gardner also has no future games currently scheduled.
