Baseball Game Preview: Bosque Bobcats vs. Dexter Demons

The Bosque Bobcats will challenge the Dexter Demons at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bosque is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Ruidoso just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 28-5.

Bosque saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aiden Carranza, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Ethan Chase, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Dexter lost 13-2 to New Mexico Military Institute on Thursday.

Dexter's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Bosque, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Everything went Bosque's way against Dexter when the teams last played back in May of 2025, as Bosque made off with a 12-6 win. Will the Bobcats repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
