Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). Everything went their way against the Marshalltown Bobcats on Thursday as they made off with a 13-2 victory. The Roughriders haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Roosevelt's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Marshalltown, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roosevelt beat the Bobcats by a score of 9-0 later that day.
