            Baseball Recap: St. Dominic Bayhawks vs. Curtis Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            St. Dominic came out on top against Curtis  on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run fifth inning. The Bayhawks were the clear victors by  a  10-3 margin over the Warriors. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Bayhawks.

  Chris Vangelatos was a standout: he earned two  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Those  two  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Dominic Muccia, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
St. Dominic's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Curtis, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the  defeat, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Dominic will take on Kellenberg Memorial at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Firebirds' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4  runs per game  this season, so the Bayhawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Curtis, they will challenge Van Arsdale at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
