Softball Recap: Baraboo Comes Up Short

Baraboo's last matchup with Portage could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Thunderbirds came up short against the Warriors, falling 10-3. It was the first time this season that the Thunderbirds let down their fans at home.

Baraboo saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taytum Poker, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Baraboo is on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7. As for Portage, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Baraboo is set to take on their familiar foe Stoughton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Portage will face off against rival McFarland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
