It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tuscarora had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Warhill Lions 1-0. The Huskies' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last four matchups.
Not much got past Peyton Travis, who gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Warhill off the board. Travis has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
