This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Richard Scott and Perry Hand. Scott gained 136 total yards and two touchdowns while Hand rushed for 71 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. That's the most rushing yards Hand has posted since back in October of 2024.

Meanwhile, Citronelle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost an 18-13 heartbreaker at the hands of Bryant. Surprisingly, this marked the Wildcats' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
Citronelle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. UMS-Wright Prep has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 148.2 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Citronelle, though, as they've been averaging only 78.2 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
