Basketball Game Preview: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears vs. Battle Creek Braves

On Tuesday, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge was able to grind out a solid victory over Hartington-Newcastle, taking the game 56-43. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Battle Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 65-52 win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic on Tuesday.

Battle Creek pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points per game. As for Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, their win bumped their record up to 6-9.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge took a serious blow against Battle Creek in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 90-60. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Laurel-Concord-Coleridge was down 48-27.
