Ridgeline proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mountain Crest Mustangs, sneaking past 1-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Ridgeline's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked second, while Mountain Crest are ranked 28th).

Ridgeline's one-goal win came courtesy of Miguel Gustave, who's now up to 12 this season.

Ridgeline's win bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.

Ridgeline and Mountain Crest will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Riverhawks see the pitch they'll take on Sky View at 7:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Mountain Crest, their break will end when they face Deseret Peak at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
