West Scranton waltzed into their game  on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with  a   16-11  win over the Riverside Vikings. For the Invaders, this counts as revenge for the   6-5 victory the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.
 Kaleiah Connor made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  4.1 innings while giving up  three earned runs off   seven  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in April. She was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Mia Keenan, who  went 3-for-5 with two  triples, two  runs,  and two  RBI. That's the most  triples  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Reece Griffiths was another key player,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  runs and two  RBI.
 West Scranton  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least ten  hits in three consecutive  matchups.
West Scranton's record is now 7-13. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12.
As of now, neither West Scranton nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
