Softball Recap: Lewisville Comes Up Short

Lewisville lost against South Range back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions fell 8-4 to the Raiders. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lewisville's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for South Range, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Lewisville will head out to take on Legion Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lancers have averaged an impressive 7.5 runs per game this season. As for South Range, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 13-2 win against Princeton on the 24th.
