Baseball Game Preview: Carencro Bears vs. Lafayette Lions

The Carencro Bears will face off against the Lafayette Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carencro has now lost 12 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since February 21.

Carencro came up short against Breaux Bridge on Monday, falling 11-5.

Carencro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Boudreaux, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and two RBI. Those two RBI gave Boudreaux a new career-high. Another was Braxton Forestier, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lafayette, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with an 8-3 win over Carencro on Friday.

Lafayette's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Carencro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.
