Baseball Recap: WestSide Renegades vs. Wyoming East Warriors

WestSide was the 5-2 winner over Wyoming East when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The WestSide Renegades lost 12-3 to the Wyoming East Warriors on Friday. WestSide has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

WestSide saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kadien Vance, who went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

On Wyoming East's side, Jarrod Phillips spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks. Phillips has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances.
