Eastern came out on top against Northwestern on Friday thanks in part to Gibson Eagle's efforts. Eagle threw for 228 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The effort also marked the most rushing yards (16) he has had since back in October of 2024.

Eagle and Eastern will take on Delphi Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Eagle took on the Oracles, he threw for 202 yards and one TD, and also rushed for 39 yards.
