Seton came tearing into Saturday's contest with 18 straight wins dating back to last season, and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Olentangy Orange Pioneers by a score of 2-0.

Seton was led to victory by Grace Jones and Kirsten Kemper. Jones had 14 digs and six assists, while Kemper had ten digs and two aces. That's the most digs Kemper has posted since back in November of 2024. Maggie Timmerman was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.

Seton's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Olentangy Orange, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Seton will host Lakota West at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Olentangy Orange, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on September 2.
