Orangeburg-Wilkinson had to skate by with only a one-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 32-point drubbing they dealt Bethune-Bowman on Friday. The Bruins really took it to the Mohawks for the full four quarters, racking up a 69-37 win. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since December 8, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Orangeburg-Wilkinson had a senior duo take command as Kyran Glover shot 70% from the field en route to 17 points and Kaleb Jamison posted 14 points. Despite the loss, Bethune-Bowman still got an impressive performance from Terrance McFadden, who earned 19 points. Another player making a difference was Trashaunn Bonaparte, who had seven points.

The victory got Orangeburg-Wilkinson back to even at 2-2. As for Bethune-Bowman, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
