Volleyball Preview: Tokay Tigers vs. Edison Vikings        
        
		
            The Tokay Tigers will venture away from home to  face off against the Edison Vikings  at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday.
Last Wednesday, Tokay didn't have quite enough to beat Chavez and fell  3-2. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Titans  25-14 in the first  set.
 Tokay actually scored more points across those five sets (100-93), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-18, 25-21, 14-25,  15-11.
Meanwhile, Edison came tearing into  Friday's  game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   3-2 W against the Timberwolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win the Vikings have posted  since March 1st.
 Edison took Sierra into a fifth set  where they got it done with a two-point win. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-12, 19-25, 20-25,  15-13.
 Edison pushed their record up to 15-5 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Tokay, their loss dropped their record down to 3-19.
 Tokay suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Edison  in their previous meeting  back in March. Can the Tigers avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
