Softball Recap: Phelps Takes a Loss

Phelps was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Pike County Central Hawks. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Hornets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Phelps' defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pike County Central, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Phelps will be playing in front of their home fans against Tolsia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pike County Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Oak Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
