Volleyball Recap: Hopewell Comes Up Short

After flying high against Petersburg on Tuesday, Hopewell came back down to earth. The Blue Devils came up short against the Prince George Royals on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Hopewell's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Prince George, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Hopewell will face off against rival Colonial Heights at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Prince George is set to square off against their familiar foe Matoaca at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
