Football Recap: Methacton Takes a Loss

Methacton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owen J. Roberts Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Wildcats are ranked 84th).

Methacton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Owen J. Roberts, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Methacton is set to take on their familiar foe Perkiomen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Owen J. Roberts will challenge rival Spring-Ford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
