Volleyball Recap: Proviso West Falls to Glenbard South in First Game of Season

Proviso West unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Glenbard South Raiders on Wednesday. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Raiders when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Proviso West ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Proviso West will take on Wheaton Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenbard South, they will head out to take on Lisle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
