James Stewart Crosses Big Stat Threshold
King William found a leader in James Stewart as the team took down Mechanicsville on Friday. Stewart showed up in a big way, rushing for 199 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (107.8) per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defending a pass.
Stewart and King William will welcome West Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King William is 10-0 against West Point going back to October of 2014, a lead they'll look to extend.
