Basketball Recap: Federal Way Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Federal Way can now relate to. They took a 53-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lincoln Abes. The Eagles have struggled against the Abes recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Federal Way's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for Lincoln, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-4 record this season.

Federal Way does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Edmonds-Woodway at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Edmonds-Woodway's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
