Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Giles). They never let the Bland County Bears get on the board and left with a 17-0 win on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Spartans considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The team relied heavily on Josiah Schlueter, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.
