With a playoff win on the line, St. Vincent rose to the challenge on Friday. They snuck past the Tipton Cardinals with a 55-50 win. The victory was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on six straight.

Despite the loss, Tipton still got an impressive performance from Ava Schlotzhauer, who shot 67% from the field to rack up 18 points and seven rebounds. Schlotzhauer has been hot for a while, having posted 15 or more points the last 17 times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Charlee Bailey, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 15 points and five boards.

St. Vincent's win bumped their record up to 27-3. As for Tipton, with the loss, they broke their eight-game winning streak and moved their record to 26-5.

St. Vincent wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 53-45 defeat against Skyline on the 15th. As for Tipton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-42 victory against Norwood on the 15th.
