Soccer Game Preview: Chapel Hill vs. Sulphur Springs

Chapel Hill is 0-4 against Sulphur Springs since February of 2023 but things could change on Friday. The Chapel Hill Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sulphur Springs Wildcats at 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Chapel Hill's offense. They lost 4-0 to Pleasant Grove on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Sulphur Springs kept a clean sheet against North Lamar on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by an 8-0 margin over the Panthers. That eight goal margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Sulphur Springs and bumps their season record up to 9-4-1. As for Chapel Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Chapel Hill came up short against Sulphur Springs in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, falling 4-2. Can Chapel Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
