Basketball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

If Meridian was riding high fresh off their 56-33 takedown of Shelbyville last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Meridian Hawks fell 50-41 to the Tuscola Warriors on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-32 last Thursday.

Meridian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Tuscola, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Meridian has already played their next matchup, a 53-39 victory against Central A & M on the 30th. As for Tuscola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-40 loss against Clinton on the 30th.
